There is an excellent article by Suzanne
S. Barnhill on this on the MVP FAQ site:
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/BookletPrinting.htm
See also Macros for booklet printing in Word 2000
at http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/BookletMacro.htm.
You may also want to take a look at Clickbook,
Fineprint and WOPR.
WOPR is Woody's Office Power Pack and can be
found at http://www.wopr.com/wopr/.
This costs $49.95. You can download a trial version for free. WOPR 97 and
earlier include booklet printing.
While a full version of of WOPR 2000 is included with
the books Special
Edition Using Office 2000 by Woody
Leonhard and Ed Bott, and Special
Edition Using Word 2000, WOPR 2000 does not include booklet printing.
Info on Clickbook can be found at:
http://www.bluesquirrel.com/products/cb/clickbook.html
FinePrint can be found at http://www.fineprint.com.
For longer books (full-length) see:
So You Want to
Write a Book Using Microsoft Word - extensive tutorial by MVP Daiya Mitchell
with overview of Styles,
Templates and
Sections and the interactions among
these tool/features. Excellent! Not just for those who want to write books!
From the FAQ editor (not on the newsgroups)
If you have Office 2000 Premium you have MS Publisher. This may be of help in
booklet printing, although I haven't yet gotten it to work in a document
prepared in Word and imported.
